Hmm. While, it has been a while. But I have been busy with college stuff and my family usually keeps me occupied. They are a blast.

I should expand more on my family. I am really close to Franzi and Johannes. I hang out with them most of my time, they are my best friends. In fact, tomorrow I have no school, so I am going with Franzi to her school. I have been picking up Piano too, because Johannes teaches piano. So he helps me. He is also really helpful with my German. He always tries to teach me 'perfect' German.

Christmas was a ton of fun. Germans celebrate Christmas on Christmas eve, so we opened presents on the eve, and on Christmas day we took a hike. Then at night another family came over and we had a dinner party. Fun! I got some pretty cool stuff from my counselor's family, my host family, and my next host family.

New Years! It is called Sylvester here. Everyone in my family did their own thing, it was funny. My host father played a concert, my host mother when to a party, my little host sister went to a party, so I went with Johannes (because he is more my age). We went to Cologne to a friend. There was a private musician party in an apartment, then at midnight we went to the Rhine and shot fireworks. It was awesome!

Obama is into Office. EVERYONE in Germany is extremely happy. They can't stop talking about it. I even had to watch the inauguration in school. When everyone finds out I am American they always want to know what I think, so I had to brush up on my politics to be able to tackle everyones questions about American Politics. Like the war, Bush, Obama, etc.

School is going a lot better, now that I am understanding it all. I feel like I am getting pretty good in German, which makes me extremely happy when I think about. So I am usually in a really good mood. Now it is easier for me to pick up vocabulary, instead of me learning it and forgetting it I remember most of them. And my grammar is getting a lot of better. Sometimes I will write down a bunch of new words in school or lean a bunch of new stuff about German in so little time that I am so tired. I come home and sleep.
